Yes, you can claim reimbursement of the travel expenses (airfare, government ferry tickets) allowable under LTC rules; only travel by government transportation (e.g., government ferry, government ferry tickets purchased via authorized agent like Air India, Balmer Lawrie, IRCTC etc.) will be reimbursed. Also keep in mind LTC does not include local sightseeing, hotel accommodations, or anything to do with water sports. Save all tickets and boarding passes for claim submission.

How to reach Andaman island for a 7 Days LTC tour package ?
You’ll arrive at Veer Savarkar International Airport in Port Blair via flights from cities like Delhi, Mumbai, Chennai or Kolkata. The LTC tour package includes airport pick up and drop services but excludes flight tickets. Inter-island travel to Havelock, Neil and other islands is by ferry.
What type of clothing should I pack for the 7 Day Andaman LTC tour ?
Pack light, breathable clothing such as cotton t-shirts, shorts, and beach wear due to the tropical climate you will be in. Remember to pack comfortable walking shoes for sightseeing, flip flops for the beach and a hat or sunglasses for sun protection. It is also a good idea to include a light jacket or raincoat during the occasional showers from October to March.
